Clerk:

There are two levels of online exam one is prelims & other is mains. Prelims are usually consisting of three subjects English Language, Reasoning Ability & Quantitative Aptitude whereas in mains general awareness is added and the previous subjects are expanded with more topics. |
Bank Clerk exam pattern is similar to PO. The only difference caused between this is the level of difficulty of questions. In clerk, questions are not that difficult as asked in PO. |

- Age Limit for Bank Clerk Exam: 20-28 years.
- Age Relaxation: 5 years age relaxation for SC/ST and 3 years age relaxation for OBC category.

Specialist Officer (SO)
Specialist officers are selected for specialized roles in different departments at specific positions in banks including information technology officer, marketing officer etc. according to their qualification. The exam pattern of the SO is of two types i.e. SBI SO exam consists of multiple choice questions while IBPS consists of three levels including preliminary, mains and interview procedure. The eligibility criteria of the SO bank exam 2024 are as follows;
- Age Limit for Specialist Officer Exam: 20-30 years.
- Age Relaxation: 5 years age relaxation for SC/ST and 3 years age relaxation for OBC category.
- Education Qualification Eligibility: Minimum graduation from a government recognized university and in some courses, post graduation too.
- Nationality/ Citizenship: Indian citizenship
